IRC update...

this has come out from the Regional Committee - the IRC Cancellation notice from BTFHQ.

" We are writing to you to confirm that the Inter-Regional Championships (IRCs) in 2020 have unfortunately been cancelled due to the on-going situation around the COVID-19 outbreak.

The suspension of triathlon activity until 30 June 2020, lack of access to swim training for all and uncertainty over possible trial races has led to questions over whether athletes could qualify for the IRCs in a safe and fair way. The decision to suspend the IRCs was seen as the only way to create a level playing field.

Should racing be possible at Mallory Park later this year we will be offering Tristar 2 and Tristar 3 athletes the option to race in an open entry event.

Thank you for your patience and understanding while we navigate this unprecedented situation.
